Is there ever a weekend that is not busy?

I certainly hope not. The Winterfell Absinthe property is shaping up nicely, and the zymurgy is still within normal parameters. I have more to speak of with Herr Writer and the monks at Stormhold. I still need to keep an eye on the wines, as the climate here is different from home. I hope that I may have Fraulein Kitlalmina’s assistance in that area soon, as she is better versed in oenology at this latitude.
In other news, related to the aforementioned property, I wrestled with an automated vendor for a humidor, and Herr Page was most helpful. The Page Creations restaurant supply area is very nice, as well. If it were not for the fact that the foodstuffs are not from Home, I might have made more purchases there. As it is, I also made an impulse buy involving serving equipment. Perhaps that will make me forget how very short the skirts are.
Herr Newbe Writer’s opening in Steam Sky City was very pleasant, made more so by the new fingers the Baron installed for my out-world agent. I won store credit in a trivia contest, and immediately spent it on a clank; now to see if it can tango. There were all manner of lights in use on the roof, and I hauled out that rave beacon at the bottom of my pockets. I must remember to see if I can break into it sometime and replace some of the particle graphics with something more appropriate to my personality. I also must speak to Herr Writer about the bar he had on the roof, nicely done, and well-stocked.
I was late to the meeting in Babbage, where the discussion concerning promoting the sim was interesting. However, the mayor had a previous engagement immediately following, and I could not therefore discuss the literary promotion in exchange for travel promotions.
I also spent far too much money on yet more gowns, but when the announcement that Fraulein Flasheart’s Prim & Proper fall runway show went out over the channel, I decided to see what I could of the new looks. Serious time dilations made the show last longer than scheduled, and my rez rate left much to be desired, but I did manage to spot some lovely frocks. Special prices were available at the show only, and that was enough for me to be able purchase five dresses without thoroughly wrecking my budget. I got my purchases home to realize that there was the full outfit, including makeup, jewelry and accessories with each! It was definitely an excellent deal for each outfit. Due to the crowd, I heard mention that the next runway shows might be by invitation only. I do hope I can manage to get on the guest list. This was an excellent show by a well-researched designer. Thinking back to the tea at Mrs. McLagden-Warburton’s estate last week, I notice I actually recognize designer’s names, and look forward to seeing, and even wearing their new designs. I fear my inventory will not survive, but I may become a fashionista yet.
